flapjacksblog2 asked: Hey there! I am Flapjack from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. Have you ever watched my show?
Nopes, what kinda stuff is it? Enlighten me, enlighten us?
Following this whole thing on Tumblr I always find it shocking (but in a good way), how different the taste of people is.
I can not, by the love of god, understand how Doom Patrol can keep anyone hooked. But then again I see people who think that JSA All Stars was just worth nothing at all. Isn’t it amazing what a diverse crowd we are? :D

And JSA All-Stars? That book has been way better than the regular JSA book AND it’s the book with Power Girl, Stargirl and Anna Fortune in it! Double damn it!
Meh.
The cancellations do not really surprise me.
Books that I simply don’t care about in this regard:
- Azrael
- Batman: Streets of Gotham
- Batman Confidental
- Outsiders
- Doom Patrol
- Rebels
There are too many bat-books anyway. And I wanted to like the Outsiders - I really like some of the characters on the Outsiders, but somehow it never really took off with me.
Rebels I have only been reading for Starfire. And she is supposed to return to the JLA, right?
And Doom Patrol is good IMO only in trade form. I don’t know, but a single issue of Doom Patrol never worked for me.
Now then there’s the books where I do not like the cancellations.
- Freedom Fighters
- JSA All Stars
Freedom Fighters I can kind of understand. The characters don’t really touch me. I like the writing, but it is really not as good as the writing on JSA (or JSA All Stars), Wonder Woman or Secret Six. (of course not everyone can be Gail Simone!)
But JSA All Stars? While I wouldn’t go so far as calling that book better than the regular JSA title, this book has been just as awesome. I hope the characters will get phased back into the regular JSA book. JSA and JSA All Stars both have been all and everything a comic should ever be: Diverse Superheroes, Action and Fun, dramatic stories, high stakes! It’s like watching the Justice League Cartoon (although a bit less whacky than the stories there. I only say “Martian Manhunter and his mind-related powers. His main power seemed to be headaches!).
Though I do not really know if DC needs two JSA books (and a JLA book. I’d rather have seen that one gone, since the storytelling on JLA is so much worse than the storytelling in JSA All Stars. And that even though I really really like Donna Troy and Jade!). Well, we’ll see. *sigh* JSA All Stars I already miss you.
Anna Fate. I hope we will see more of her despite the cancellation.
I already don’t like Flashpoint.

Why you should be reading Secret Six - part four:
… and Bane deals with the problem.
He’s such an elegant man.
